Updates and How-to tutorials from the minds behind Babel-University
I am very happy to announce the newest version of the Babel-U-Exams online test management system! This release brings with it several new features that will make it even easier to customize your online testing environment.
Including a new exam view layout, the ability to have multiple problem types in one section, finer access controls in the administration area and a much needed update to the result review page. For a full list of all the improvements please check the change logs....
I'm happy to announce the minimum viable solution release (MVSR) of the Babel-U-Courses online course management system! Recovering from the design issue took longer than I had hoped, but after a solid week of coding till two in the morning, I was able to submit the extension to the Joomla! extensions directory yesterday.
Over the next few months, I'll be reorganizing the site documentation and updating the product demos to make room for the newest member of the Babel-University solutions family....
As you know I've been working on a new self-paced e-learning course extension that will make it possible to create structured learning paths in your Joomla! site. I was hoping to have a beta release this week, but unfortunately a no-so-obvious, yet extremely serious flaw in my original design has taken the project a little off course (no pun intended). So last week was spent brainstorming and testing various alternative designs.
In order to keep this project moving forward, I've decided to invest the remainder of February getting the beta release ready. This means that the next Babel-U-Exams development sprint will start early March. I know many of you are patiently waiting for the course management system. I'm very sorry for the delay and promise to make it well worth the wait.
